Summary:
I design custom electronics. I write software for a wide variety of projects, from high-availability server clusters to high-reliability embedded systems. I enjoy technical challenges and innovative projects.

Electronics prototyping:
circuit board design, KiCad, Altium DXP, Protel, soldering irons, Spice, oscilloscopes, multimeters, and logic analyzers.

Computer programming:
Python 3, Node.js, Google Apps Script, C, C++, JavaScript, CGI scripting, Microsoft Visual C++, Prolog, HTML, ARM, DSP56002, 68000, 80386, 68HC11, 68HC16, Cypress PSoC, and Microchip PIC assembly.

Chief Software Developer — Ocutrx (2017 to present)

• Built prototype electronics for self-contained AR goggles headset
• Maintained documentation for a team of hardware and software developers
• Wrote software to transfer medical test results

Electronics Engineer — Carybros (2007 to 2008; 2010 to present)

• Set up distributed system of over 100 cloud-based servers for CityVu.co
• Assembled hardware subsystems and programmed glue software for live real-time HDTV MPEG4 video-over-Internet prototypes for Lamar Systems
• Designed circuit boards for Global Safety Labs
• Designed circuit boards for Munnich Design

Electronics Engineer — Tron-Tek (2006)

• Built prototypes and wrote firmware for handheld DTMF transmitter printed circuit board (PCB)
• Maintained and improved firmware for pan-tilt-zoom (PTZ) receiver
